Magik Designs

At Magik Designs, all services are delivered as time-based, skill-based, and custom creative work. Because of the nature of design and pre-press services, our refund policy is structured to reflect the time, effort, and resources allocated to each project.

1. General Refund Principle

All payments made to Magik Designs are considered payment for:

  • Time allocated
  • Creative expertise
  • Project execution
  • Resource and workflow commitment

As a result, all payments are generally non-refundable once work has started.

2. Before Work Has Started

If a project is canceled before any work has begun, a partial refund may be considered:

  • Administrative or processing fees may be deducted
  • Any allocated planning or onboarding time may be charged

Approval of refunds at this stage is at the discretion of Magik Designs.

3. After Work Has Started

Once a project has entered production (including but not limited to):

  • Design work
  • Pre-press setup
  • Concept creation
  • File preparation
  • No refunds will be issued, as resources and time have already been committed.

4. Completed or Partially Completed Work

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Completed deliverables
  • Partially completed milestones
  • Approved or revised work
  • Work delayed due to client-side feedback or communication

In such cases, clients are responsible for payment of work already delivered.

5. Unlimited Plans

For subscription-based or unlimited design plans:

  • Payments are non-refundable once the billing cycle begins
  • No refunds are provided for unused time, unused requests, or inactive usage
  • Clients may cancel future renewals at any time

Services remain active until the end of the paid period.

6. Dissatisfaction with Work

If a client is not satisfied:

  • We encourage clear revision requests as per the Revision Policy
  • We will work to refine the deliverable within agreed scope

Refunds are not issued for design preference disagreements if work aligns with the original brief.

7. Project Delays

Refunds are not applicable for delays caused by:

  • Incomplete client instructions
  • Delayed approvals or feedback
  • Scope changes during the project
  • External dependencies (e.g. missing assets or content)

We always aim to communicate timelines clearly and adjust expectations accordingly.

8. Cancellation of Active Projects

If a client chooses to cancel an active project:

  • Charges will apply for all completed and in-progress work
  • Any remaining balance for completed work becomes payable
  • No refund will be issued for work already initiated

9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without prior communication:

  • Will result in immediate termination of services
  • May lead to restriction of future services
  • Will be considered a breach of agreement

We strongly encourage resolving concerns directly with our team.

10. Exceptions (Rare Cases)

Refunds may only be considered in exceptional cases such as:

  • Duplicate payments
  • Billing errors from our side
  • Failure to initiate work after payment (no assignment or activity)

These are reviewed individually and are not guaranteed.

11. Policy Acceptance

By engaging with Magik Designs, clients acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.
